DOW EDGES MIDLAND IN A THRILLER

On April 22, H.H. Dow High School girls soccer secured a dramatic come-from-behind 2–1 victory over Midland High School, with all the action unfolding in a decisive second half.

After a scoreless opening 40 minutes, Midland struck first to take control of the match early in the second half. Dow responded quickly, with Aubree Bills leveling the score to swing momentum back toward the Chargers.

Bills then delivered again later in the half, scoring her second goal to complete the comeback and put Dow in front 2–1. From there, Dow held firm defensively under late Midland pressure to seal the rivalry win.

The result showcased resilience from Dow High, with Bills providing the difference in a tightly contested matchup that was decided entirely after the break.
